The authoritative portal HLTV has presented the name of the e-sportsman, who was honored to take 7th place in the ranking of the best players of 2022. According to the editors, such an honorable position turned out to be m0NESY, the current sniper of the G2 Esports team.

Last season was the first for the 17-year-old player on the big stage. However, m0NESY overcame all possible obstacles to become the most valuable player at BLAST Premier: World Final 2022, as well as get EVP for performances at Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice and ESL Pro League Season 16.

The season for m0NESY and G2 Esports turned out to be far from the most successful. Only in December, the team became the champion of BLAST Premier: World Final 2022, showing an unexpected game against the backdrop of its main competitors. Moreover, together with the team, the 17-year-old sniper managed to get into the top three at Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice, BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 16.

To sum up, m0NESY has remained stable throughout 2022, often being the main player of his team. At the same time, he showed high results in any tournaments and against each opponent.

As the editors note, the young sniper failed to be higher in the ranking for several reasons: 1) a smaller number of individual awards compared to the players located above; 2) relatively low rating in matches against direct competitors.
