ESL and BLAST, the tournament operators, have expressed their opinions regarding Valve's new rules concerning the organization of Counter-Strike competitions. Both companies have agreed to adjust their approach to forming the list of championship participants.

Ulrich Schulze, Senior Vice President of ESL FACEIT Group, tweeted that tournament operators are actively working on changing the format of their major competitions. He also announced plans to expand the revenue distribution model for tournaments, allowing all teams to share in the proceeds. The company intends to provide further details about these upcoming changes in the coming months.

In response, BLAST took to their social media platforms to release a statement confirming their agreement with Valve's new rules. The tournament format for BLAST will remain unchanged for 2024, but there are plans to reevaluate the format for the year 2025.
