Officiellt: Rain lämnar FaZe efter ett decennium av legendarisk tjänstgöring

It’s the end of an era for FaZe Clan. After nearly 10 years with the team, Håvard "rain" Nygaard — the iconic veteran and cornerstone of the roster — is officially leaving. Joining FaZe back in 2016 as the first player of that lineup, rain stayed loyal for 3,540 days, lifting 21 trophies and cementing his place in Counter-Strike history.

Rain’s Farewell Message 💬

In his parting words, rain made it clear that his career isn’t done yet:

"After 10 unforgettable years, it's time to say goodbye to FaZe Clan. Although FaZe has decided to go in another direction, I am immensely proud of what we have achieved over the past decade. My journey in CS2 is far from over. I am not retiring. I will continue to compete and grow as a player."

His crown jewel came at PGL Major Antwerp 2022, where he not only won the Major but also claimed MVP honors. Other highlights include:

Twistzz Returns to FaZe 🔥

Rain’s departure makes way for Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, who re-joins from Team Liquid. Statistically, Twistzz currently edges out rain in key areas like average damage, kills per round, and trade percentage — making him a strong addition to the roster.
