Team Falcon's star midlaner Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak has officially regained access to Dota 2 matchmaking. The ban on his Steam account was lifted on the evening of October 27, during the ongoing FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 event.

So far, neither Valve nor Malr1ne has provided any public comment or explanation regarding the sudden reversal. The official reason behind the unban remains undisclosed, leaving the Dota 2 community speculating about what caused and resolved the issue so quickly.

According to the Steam enforcement notice, the action was taken due to “using third-party programs, violating Steam’s terms of service, smurfing, matchmaking abuse, or other severe violations.” As a result, the player was temporarily unable to access matchmaking.

Malr1ne responded to the situation in a lighthearted manner, sharing a short message that quickly circulated among fans and teammates:
