Major Changes to Coin Refund Policy

One of the most notable updates involves eFootball Coin refunds. Previously, if players requested a refund after purchasing and spending coins, the system would simply deduct the corresponding amount from their balance.

Now, the consequences are more severe. If a refund results in a negative coin balance, players will face restrictions on certain game features — including access to eFootball League. In effect, this limits gameplay until the balance is restored.

New National Midfielders Pack

Arriving on March 30, 2026, the upcoming pack highlights legendary midfielders:

  • Franck Ribéry — featuring Momentum Dribbling and Edged Crossing
  • Gennaro Gattuso — maintaining his Destroyer role with Fortress and Long-reach Tackle
  • Christian Karembeu — debuting as part of the 30th Anniversary Legend edition, with Low Screamer and Fortress skills

This pack continues the focus on iconic players with updated abilities and roles.

Crackdown on Exploits

KONAMI has also reinforced its stance against cheating. Players found using exploits, third-party tools, or abnormal match behavior in eFootball League will now face account suspensions and restrictions.

The company emphasized that PvP matches are being actively monitored to ensure fair play.

Points Shop Update

eFootball 2026 March Update Introduces Refund Changes and Anti-Cheat Measures 1

The eFootball Points Shop has received a refresh, including a free reward of 100 eFootball Coins available for zero points. However, availability may vary by region, so players are encouraged to check their local store.

Limited-Time Campaign

A special campaign titled “A Cup Champion Has Been Crowned” is also live. During the event, Manchester B players will receive a boosted Live Update Rating of A.

The campaign runs from March 26 to April 2, 2026.
