eFootball lägger till Johan Cruyff — Nytt LinkUp-spelstils- och managerpaket

Denna artikel finns tillgänglig på följande språk

A new Link-Up manager has been added to eFootball following the latest weekly maintenance, bringing legendary coach Johan Cruyff back into the spotlight with a fresh tactical system.

Johan Cruyff Returns as a Manager

As part of the ongoing 1 billion downloads campaign, Konami has introduced Cruyff as a premium manager option. He can be signed for 750 eFootball coins and will remain available for 81 days until the next seasonal reset.

Alongside the manager, the pack also includes highlight player cards for Maax Meerdink and Gustavo Hamer.

Playstyle and Tactical Features

This version of Cruyff comes with two main playstyles:

  • Possession Game
  • Out Wide

Both reach a maximum proficiency of 89, making him a flexible option for different tactical approaches.

In addition, all players in the squad receive a +1 boost to acceleration and balance, which benefits fast and agile attackers such as Mbappé, Eto’o, and Salah.

Unique Link-Up System

The highlight of this manager is a special Link-Up mechanic called “1-2 Cut In A.” This system focuses on quick passing combinations in the final third.

To activate it effectively, teams should include:

  • A Creative Playmaker as a left midfielder (LMF)
  • A Fox in the Box striker (CF)

The mechanic triggers when the midfielder passes from the wing to the striker and immediately makes a central run to receive a return pass, creating dangerous attacking opportunities.

Best Player Fits

Some of the most effective players for this system include:

  • Ruud Gullit
  • Pavel Nedvěd
  • Viktor Gyökeres
  • Jamal Musiala

Midfielders with strong long-range shooting abilities further enhance this playstyle.

Drawbacks

Despite its attacking potential, Cruyff’s setup comes with a risk—a high defensive line, which can leave teams vulnerable to counterattacks.

Final Overview

Johan Cruyff’s new Link-Up manager introduces a dynamic, attacking-focused system built around quick combinations and movement. While highly effective going forward, it requires careful defensive management to avoid being exposed at the back.
