Advertising banners for Yakuza Wars, a new mobile game set in the beloved Yakuza universe, have surfaced online.

Enthusiasts first came across the trademark for this title in early August, but no concrete details were available at the time. Now, these newly surfaced banners offer insight into the mobile spin-off of the main series.

It looks like fans are in for a strategic adventure featuring well-known characters like Kazuma Kiryu and Ichiban Kasuga. Players will also have the chance to "write their own story" in the criminal world of the game.

One of the banners includes a glimpse of gameplay, suggesting that players will need to build their own empire and defend their territory. The poster shows various buildings and character figures, hinting at a strategic gameplay style.

The game is being developed by BBGame, the studio behind mobile titles such as New Romance of the Three Kingdoms and High Society.
