Conversation with the developer: Far Cry VI's narrative director about the main villain

At the presentation of Ubisoft Forward, July 12, Far Cry 6 was announced. This did not surprise anyone, because a few days before the event the details of the game leaked to the network. Not surprisingly, Anton Castillo, the main villain of the game performed by Giancarlo Esposito, drew all the attention of the fans to himself. Gameinformer reporters talked to the narrative director of the project and asked him about the character of Esposito.

Anton Castillo is a dictator of the tropical country of Yara, which is going through hard times. At an early age, Anton witnessed the execution of his father, which influenced his formation. Castillo is sure that only his family will be able to return Yara to prosperity and bring stability to the country. And for this, Anton is ready to use any means.

Another central character in the game is Anton's son, Diego. The boy has to live in the shadow of his father and look at things with his eyes.

The relationship between father and son should become a key aspect of the story, which unfolds at the height of the revolution. The game is scheduled for release on February 18, 2021.
