Lviv-baserade Studio Hologryph tillkännager Early Access Release av SAND på Steam den 3 april

Hologryph, a game development studio from Lviv, has officially announced that their team-based shooter about Galicians in space, SAND, will launch in Early Access on Steam on April 3.

In SAND, you play as daring adventurers from Galicia, who, in an alternate early 20th-century history, became part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire's space expansion. Your journey takes you to Sophia, a once-thriving resort planet now turned into a desolate wasteland, where you'll hunt for treasures and battle rival factions.

SAND has already proven itself as one of the most successful Ukrainian online games in recent years. Last year, its demo on Next Festranked among the top 10 most popular festival entries, and over 200,000 players explored the world of SAND during the open playtest.

What’s New in Early Access?

Early Access will introduce significant new content alongside what players have already experienced:

• New cities, additional locations, and even more treasures
• Zombie-like NPCs roaming the ruins and ambushing careless players
• Minefields and other desert hazards
• Improved controls for Trumplers and enhanced maneuverability
• Expanded customization options for Trumplers – new compartments, chassis, and weaponry to create a unique machine

Future Development and Updates

During the Early Access period, the developers plan to regularly release updates, adding new items, locations, and other improvements. A detailed roadmap for SAND’s development will be published alongside its Steam release.
