Black Ops 6 Säsong 3 tar tillbaka skjutfältet, lägger till en ny zombiekarta och välkomnar Jay & Silent Bob
Get ready, soldiers—Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3 is dropping hot on April 2, and it’s loaded with content that’s equal parts nostalgic, chaotic, and off-the-wall. Activision is pulling no punches this time, bringing back classic maps, stacking the Zombies mode with wild new gear and enemy types, and—wait for it—adding Jay and Silent Bob as playable operators. Yes, seriously.
Let’s break down what you’re getting this season because it’s a lot.

Season 3 is serving up six new multiplayer maps, with three available at launch and more coming mid-season:
- Firing Range is back, baby. This classic from the original Black Ops is remastered and ready for you to relive the glory days.
- Barrage drops you into the jungles of Vietnam (1968) in a traditional 6v6 setup.
- Nomad, a strike map that works in both 2v2 and 6v6, takes the fight to the dusty ruins of an Afghan settlement.
Mid-season adds:
- Haven, a 6v6 map inside a KGB safehouse.
- Signal, a submarine bay, turned into a chaotic 2v2/6v6 battleground.
- Blazetown, a limited-time Nuketown variant teased to be “lit” for the 4/20 crowd.

In the most unexpected crossover yet, Jay and Silent Bob are suiting up. Available as operator bundles (with bonus variants as their comic book alter egos Bluntman and Chronic), they’re dropping just in time for April 20. It’s a wild nod to pop culture and cannabis comedy—perfectly timed with the new stoner-themed mode (more on that soon).

Zombies mode is getting a full-blown upgrade with the new Shattered Veil map, which kicks off at launch. The undead are invading Richtofen’s Liberty Falls mansion, and your squad’s got work to do. Complete the main quest and unlock:
- "PhDeadly" Carver skin
- Animated Calling Card
- 5,000 XP bonus
New enemies include:
- Elder Disciple, a boss-tier threat.
- Toxic zombies that explode into acid clouds.
Oh, and we’re getting two Wonder Weapons: the Wunderwaffe DG-2 and Ray Gun Mark II, the latter of which now has three upgrade paths—W, P, and R—each with ridiculous effects like SMG-style fire, immunity-granting sigils, and plague damage.
Plus, the Double Tap perk is finally here, complete with six new augments and expanded availability across multiple maps via Der Wunderfizz.
New Weapons + COD New Battle Pass

The free tiers of the Season 3 Battle Pass bring some fan favorites from Modern Warfare 2019:
- CR-56 AMAX
- HDR sniper
Meanwhile, the Kilo 141 and Kali Sticks will be tied to the "Return to Verdansk" event. Mid-season, we’re also getting the Ladra SMG and nail gun because nothing says CoD like DIY murder tools.
The pass also features skins for OG legends like Jason Hudson (Black Ops) and Mace (MW 2019). And yes, BlackCell is back as the $30 premium option.
Multiplayer Modes & Perks

Two classics return:
- Demolition
- Sharpshooter
And there’s a new limited-time stoner-mode called Joint Operations—a chaotic mash-up of five game modes, sprinkled with weird effects like:
- Double health
- Low gravity
- Hallucinations
- Third-person POV
It’s going full 4/20 energy.
On the perk side:
- Close Shave (Slot 1) lets you instantly melee with a weapon butt attack.
- Vendetta (Slot 2) reveals your killer’s last position and gives you a bonus score for revenge kills.
Plus, the Death Machine scorestreak returns, requiring 825 points to wreck shop.
Ranked Play + Quality of Life Updates

A fresh Ranked Play season is also launching. You’ll get a new weapon blueprint, decals, and calling cards, with a crucial update: rejoin support. Disconnect? You’ll now have 5 minutes to jump back in without tanking your team’s SR.
Black Ops Tribute Event

Running from April 17 to May 1, this XP-focused event spans all modes—Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone—and is themed entirely around Black Ops legacy content. Expect nostalgia and some sweet unlocks.
Season 3 is shaping up to be one of the most packed, fun, and chaotic updates Black Ops 6 has dropped yet. Whether you're in it for the sweaty Ranked Play grind, the undead-slashing Zombies runs, or just vibing in Nuketown with Jay and Silent Bob—there’s something here for everyone.
Now if you'll excuse us, we’ll be over here prepping for Blazetown with a tactical snack run.
