Clash Royale League 2025 återvänder med nytt format och fokus på communityt

Clash Royale Esports is making a major comeback in 2025 with a revamped and community-driven edition of the Clash Royale League (CRL). This year’s competition promises to be more dynamic, more inclusive, and packed with action — culminating in a 12-player World Finals in September. The league kicks off in June, with qualifying events starting as early as May 5.

🗓 CRL 2025 Format & Schedule

This year’s CRL is designed to bridge the gap between community and pro competition. Four leading community esports organizations will host major Golden Ticket events, each awarding:

• 1 Golden Ticket (direct slot to World Finals)
• 1 Silver Ticket (access to Last Chance Qualifier)
• CRL Leaderboard points

In total, four Golden Tickets will be earned through these events. Silver Ticket holders will battle in the Last Chance Qualifier, alongside top leaderboard players, for the final spot in the Finals.

📅 Key Dates

All matches will follow a Best-of-3 (BO3) format. Only players who rank in the Top 1000 of Path of Legends (from May through August) will be eligible to earn points and participate in Event Qualifiers, beginning from Day 2 of each event.

👥 Participants & Qualification

In response to fan demand, the 2025 Grand Finals will feature 12 players (instead of the previous 16). These finalists will qualify through four distinct paths:

• 4 players from Golden Ticket Events
• 6 players via the CRL Leaderboard
• 1 player from the Last Chance Qualifier
• 1 player from the China Tie-in Event

💰 Prize Pool Breakdown

While the total prize pool for the World Finals hasn’t been revealed yet, each Golden Ticket event will feature a $50,000 prize pool. Here’s how the rewards are distributed:

The CRL 2025 follows the crowning of Mohamed Light as the 2024 World Champion in November and marks a long-awaited return of competitive Clash Royale.
