This year, a new Mafia game called Mafia: The Old Country has been released, and it is a prequel to the entire franchise, set in the early 1900s in Sicily.

The game has been really decent, with great characters and a beautiful open world, but it didn’t set the Thames on fire. Take-Two has confirmed Hangar 13 will continue to work on the Mafia game series, and now, insider TCM2 has revealed some details of the next Mafia video game.

He clarifies it will be a direct sequel to Mafia: The Old Country, with Carina Conti, who played Isabella Torrisi, previously has confirmed Hangar 13 will develop new title. The game is also likely to take place in Empire Bay - location from Mafia 2—in the 1920s-1930s. Speaking of Mafia 2, insiders claim a remake could also be in development.
