Clash of Clans-uppdatering för att åtgärda problem med rankat läge och Town Hall 18 Meta
Supercell has announced an upcoming update for Clash of Clans that aims to tackle several long-standing player concerns. In a recent developer blog, the team directly addressed feedback surrounding Ranked Mode and the current Town Hall 18 (TH18) meta, outlining a series of adjustments designed to improve balance and overall player experience.
Ranked Mode Changes on the Way
Ranked Mode was originally introduced to give players more flexibility in how and when they compete. However, Supercell acknowledged that the system has not worked as intended for everyone. Many players have reported that progression in the higher leagues feels slower and more demanding than before.

To resolve these issues, several changes are planned for the next update. A bug that incorrectly displays demotion warnings will be fixed, preventing unnecessary concern about dropping leagues. In addition, promotion and demotion percentages will be adjusted in certain leagues to make progression feel more fluid and less restrictive.
Supercell is also reducing the number of required battles in the top leagues. This change is intended to reduce burnout, particularly for players who feel pressured to grind attacks each week just to maintain their rank. Difficulty modifiers within Ranked Mode will also be rebalanced based on community feedback.
Supercell Responds to the Town Hall 18 Meta
The developer blog also addressed the current gameplay meta at Town Hall 18. Supercell noted that many popular Town Hall 17 strategies are no longer as effective. This is largely due to the Town Hall no longer functioning as a defensive structure, as well as several troops lacking new upgrade levels.

While the developers emphasized that new Town Hall releases are meant to feel “exciting and powerful,” they admitted that the transition to TH18 could have been smoother. Player feedback is already being used to guide how future Town Hall upgrades will be designed and introduced.
Ongoing Adjustments Planned
Supercell concluded the blog by reaffirming its commitment to keeping Clash of Clans enjoyable for all types of players. The upcoming changes are part of a broader, ongoing effort, and none of the adjustments are considered final. Players can expect more frequent updates in the future as the team continues to refine Ranked Mode and overall game balance.
