• 2,000 Credits for attending LAN events

Loyalty Reward

• Players who attend the same event 5+ times unlock an exclusive avatar outfit: “Casual Suit.”

Victory Reward

• Tournament champions receive a rare in-game title: “Local Legend 2026.”

How to Claim Tournament Rewards

To qualify for rewards, players must complete a simple account-linking process:

1. Connect their Riot account to a profile on start.gg
2. Register for official tournaments through that platform

Once verified, rewards are automatically credited within a few days after the event concludes.

Development Team Downsizing Announcement

The reward program arrives shortly after Riot confirmedsignificant staffing changes affecting the game’s development team. The company recently reduced the size of the 2XKO staff by approximately 80 employees, which represents around half of the project’s workforce.

The update was publicly addressed in a company blog statement. Tom Cannon, Executive Producer for 2XKO, explained that the studio made the decision after analyzing player engagement data following the console release.

In a comment to GameDeveloper, a company representative confirmed the figure and clarified that while the game has built a dedicated core community, its growth rate was not sufficient to sustain a team of that size long-term.
