Pearl Abyss släppte ny uppdatering till Crimson Desert – Patch Notes version 1.08.00

Exactly one week has passed since Pearl Abyss released the latest patch for Crimson Desert, Patch Notes Version 1.07.00. But the developers have no intention of stopping there, as they have released yet another update for the game, which, like the previous ones, fixes numerous bugs and adds new content.

The developers have unveiled all the details about Patch Notes Version 1.08.00 in a new blog post on their website. Among the major updates, Crimson Desert now features a fish pond system, new pets—including the Baby Wyvern—and an update to the equipment system. Patch Notes Version 1.08.00 is now available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5. The update will be available later on other platforms (Steam Mac, Xbox Series X/S, and Mac App Store). Fellow Greymanes, Here are the fixes and improvements that have been added this patch.

This patch adds a pond and a Baby Wyvern as a new pet, along with various bug fixes and stability improvements.

New Additions:

Added a slot to equip tools. Certain equipment that was previously equipped in the secondary weapon slot can now be equipped in the tool slot. Equippable tools: logging axe, mallet, shovel, broom, scythe, pickaxe, drill/chainsaw, fan. The tool slot can be found in the quickslot menu, below the secondary weapon slot.

Added a Pond to "Howling Hill" and "Pailune Camp". You can directly release fish from your inventory into the pond, or add them through the pond management mode. Having multiple fish of the same species will gradually increase the number of that species, at a rate that varies by species.

Added 20 species of small animals and a "Baby Wyvern" that can be registered as pets. Baby Wyverns" will be able to grow and be registered as mounts in a future update, so stay tuned.

Wild Wyverns can now be temporarily used as mounts after being subdued.

Main Improvements:

Added a function to instantly refine equipment using a selected refinement method without having to select materials.

Added timber and stones as rewards to logging and quarry missions.

Adjusted the size of items inside claw machine capsules so prizes can be viewed more clearly.

Added a keyboard shortcut (P) that opens and closes the photo mode menu.

Improved shortcut customization so that shortcuts for Inventory, Map, Skills, Journal, Photo Mode, and Menu can be freely assigned.

Improved the map to allow separate markers to be placed depending on the current location.

Fixed various localization errors and improved localization quality across all languages.

Pearl Abyss continues to actively support Crimson Desert, even though their next game, DokeV, is expected to launch earlier than planned. According to the studio’s recent financial report, they are reallocating their resources in order to release major new titles every 2–3 years.

As for Crimson Desert, recently the gaming studio teased that the game might receive DLC in the future, but for now nothing is confirmed or announced yet.

Crimson Desert is available now on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Mac, and Xbox ROG Ally.
