Leaker avslöjade att Assassin's Creed med kodnamnet Hexe enligt uppgift släpps nästa juni

Ubisoft is actively preparing for the release of their next project, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced—a remake of the 2013 game. On June 17, the studio announced that the game had gone gold, confirming its release date as July 9 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Meanwhile, the developers are also hard at work on the next main installment in the franchise, Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe, which was announced back in 2022.

There aren't many official details about Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe yet, but in recent weeks we've learned that the game will feature a female protagonist named Anika, who is a descendant of Claudia Auditore, Ezio’s sister. The parkour gameplay is expected to resemble what we saw in Assassin's Creed Unity. Additionally, with Jean Guedson stepping in as the creative director for Codename Hexe, all the magical elements have been removed, making the game more grounded and realistic.

In turn, Ubisoft leaker Rogue, who has previously shared details not only about Codename Hexe but also other studio projects—including the unannounced Far Cry 7—revealed that the studio aims to release Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe in the summer of 2027. However, he does not rule out the possibility that the release could be delayed further, given the past and apparently ongoing development challenges.

Speaking about the Auditore family in the context of Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe, previous leaks indicated that Ezio would appear in the game through memory discs or Isu technology. Rogue also confirmed that the character will be in the game, but will not be playable.

In addition to Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe, Ubisoft is also developing a multiplayer game set in the same universe, known as Codename Invictus. This project is currently in a very complex stage of development and has been delayed multiple times. Earlier this year, the first details were revealed alongside a leaked screenshot showcasing the gameplay.
