BURIED STARS och System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster är nu gratis i Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store has launched another free game giveaway. This time, you can add two games to your library—BURIED STARS and System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster—and the games that will be free next week have also been revealed.

Developed by LINE Games Corporation, BURIED STARS is a visual novel that combines elements of mystery and psychological horror. The story centers on the participants of a reality show who find themselves trapped under the rubble of the building where the show is being filmed. BURIED STARS features multiple endings, and the gameplay involves the survivors communicating via a fictional social network while managing their mental health and trust levels.

As for System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster, the title speaks for itself. It’s an enhanced edition of the cult classic game by Nightdive Studios, originally released in 1999 (the remaster came out last year). The remastered version features modern textures, 4K resolution, 144 FPS support, as well as updated character and weapon models and cross-platform co-op multiplayer. You can add both games to your library for free until October 8.

Epic Games has also confirmed the following games will be free next week: Out of Sight and TerraScape. The first one is a puzzle-adventure game with horror elements, reminiscent of Little Nightmares, in which you play as a blind girl named Sophie who must escape from a sinister place while evading mysterious creatures. Bitfall Studios' TerraScape is an indie strategy game where you build cities and entire kingdoms, gradually expanding your territory across panoramic levitating islands.
