Recently, the information appeared that Psyonix, the company that created Rocket League, closed an interesting deal with NBC Sports Group. NBC Sports Group is the division of NBC Universal. NBC channel will broadcast a big seasonal Rocket League tournament on cable TV. The tournament will be played in 2 vs 2 format. Except for that, the key stages of the event will be broadcasted on streaming platforms. The organizers selected FaceIt, that is specialized on CS:GO events, as a platform for the tournament. Currently, FaceIt does not support Rocket League, but it will be fixed in the soonest time. The tournament will start in July and will end in August. The prize pool for the seasonal tournament is $100,000.
