Valorants nya soppbutik kan komma tillsammans med Agent Hush

The mysterious store codenamed Soup, which dataminers have been talking about since September, will most likely arrive in Valorant next week. Leaker valohabercisi shared the news and in his view, the store is tied to the new Duelist Hush and will launch together with her.

As a reminder, the first mentions of Soup were found in the game files back in early September. According to dataminers, it will be a separate limited-time store similar to the Night Market, and Riot will only open it during certain periods. It will have its own tab and icon in the main menu, and players will be able to buy both individual items and full bundles.

The most interesting part of the new store is its “ingredient” system. The files contain four types of soup: BEEF_STEW, CHICKEN_NOODLE, CHILI, and GUMBO. Players will likely have to spend them to unlock certain offers in the store, so the mechanic may resemble a trading or crafting system.

Back on October 13, valohabercisi posted new textures related to the Soup store. According to him, code also appeared in the game files indicating the store will have “iconic” offers. What exactly that means is still unclear, but it could be anything from popular skins returning to separate exclusive items. Riot Games hasn’t officially confirmed the store exists.

The connection to Hush makes sense. Food has been a theme throughout the agent’s entire campaign: a themed pop-up café ran in Shanghai ahead of her reveal, and in the cinematic trailer, Hush takes out a gang of gangsters in a restaurant, with food often in focus.

The new agent arrives in the game on October 27 in the Americas and October 28 in other regions, so if the leaker is right, the Soup store will open around the same time.
