USA Esports Alliance lanseras för att förena topplag, universitet och branschledare

A new organization, the USA Esports Alliance, has officially been launched in the United States, aiming to unite major stakeholders across the country’s esports industry.

This initiative marks the first collaboration of its kind, bringing together professional esports organizations, leading universities, and key ecosystem partners. The main objective is to build a stronger, safer, and more sustainable environment for esports in the U.S., while also strengthening the nation’s presence on the global stage.

The alliance’s founding members include prominent names such as Team Liquid, Cloud9, TSM, 100 Thieves, NRG, and Evil Geniuses, among others. More than ten organizations have already joined, representing a wide range of competitive titles, including Counter-Strike, Valorant, League of Legends, and Call of Duty.

Academic institutions are also playing a significant role in the project. Universities like UCLA, Georgia Tech, and the University of Texas at Dallas have partnered with the alliance to support talent development, establish educational pathways, and help nurture players from an early stage in their careers.

At its core, the alliance aims to create a unified esports development system that connects collegiate competitions with the professional scene. Additional priorities include improving player support, expanding infrastructure, and introducing clear and transparent industry standards.

While still in its early stages, the USA Esports Alliance has already outlined ambitious plans to become the national governing body for esports in the United States. The long-term vision includes building a structure similar to traditional sports, working with government institutions to achieve federal recognition, and eventually gaining acknowledgment from the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committees.
