Electronic Arts avslöjade EA Sports FC 27:s första spelupplägg och delade dess detaljer

It has been almost a week since the official announcement of EA Sports FC 27, the latest installment in the world’s most famous football simulator series. Electronic Arts had previously announced the studio will be gradually revealing various aspects of the new game's details throughout the week, and the first of these announcements focuses specifically on the gameplay and its new features—of which, incidentally, there are quite a lot.

The new EA Spors FC 27 gameplay trailer reveals that Electronic Arts has clearly worked on improving the game, and in this new installment, players can expect a significant overhaul of many aspects of a football match—including more realistic runs, a completely redesigned corner system, manual defending with the AI completely disabled, and much more. BREAKING FC 27 GAMEPLAY MAJOR CHANGES:

• Spatial Awareness, attackers identify space and passing lanes more intelligently
• Smarter Runs, improved curved, overlapping and underlapping movement
• Off Balance Dribbling, agile players can resist contact and maintain possession
• Redesigned Corners, greater control over movement, positioning and delivery
• Aerial Battles, more realistic contests between attackers and defenders
• Manual Defending, automatic AI tackles have been removed
• Defensive Control, timing, positioning and jockeying are more rewarding
• Authentic Gameplay 2.0, a more realistic experience for offline modes
• Player Personalities, footballers behave more like their real world counterparts
• Evolving Tactics, teams adjust their approach as matches develop
• Competitive Gameplay, responsive and balanced gameplay for online modes

In just two days’ time, on July 31st, Electronic Arts will reveal details about the career mode in EA Sports FC 27. According to early leaks, it will also undergo significant changes and become even more realistic. In addition, on August 2, players can look forward to news about Ultimate Team, and on August 4, The Grounds, a new mode set entirely in an open world, which is perhaps the main attraction of the latest franchise installment.

EA Sports FC 27 will release on September 25 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, and Switch 2.
