Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, reported paying $352 million to content creators in 2024. This income was earned by creators who use Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) to design islands and mini-games. This record-breaking figure represents an 11% increase compared to the previous year.

The number of creators also grew significantly, from 24,000 to 70,000, with nearly 200,000 user-created islands developed in 2024.
