This DLC packs over 40 magical new exhibits like the Flying Carpet, Teanie Kettle, and the Novel Wardrobe — all with effects that can either bless or curse your visitors. How well they behave depends on how well you maintain them. The more you slack, the more cursed your guests become. So yeah, probably don’t skip exhibit maintenance.

To get these magical items, you'll go on RPG-flavored expeditions. That’s where the new Fantasy Expert staff type comes in. Just recently, Epic Games Store gave away Two Points Hospital for free, and now dragons in the Museum, what a time. You’ll be hiring bards, rogues, barbarians, and wizards, each bringing their stats to the job. These stats matter: one mission might need high Strength and Dexterity to handle a dragon encounter, while others could require Intelligence and Luck to unlock shortcut paths. Think tabletop RPG party mechanics but applied to museum staff.

"Does your team have enough combined Strength and Dexterity to counter a dragon attack?"

Yes, that's a real question the devs are asking.

Two Point Museum Goes Full Fantasy in First DLC Drop 1

Fantasy Finds also adds three new visitor archetypes, a full medieval-themed helicopter paint job, and over two dozen new decor and utility items. Interactive displays, mythical staff gear, and fantasy-styled wallpapers and floors round out the aesthetic. The whole thing is wrapped up in a new expedition map that promises some classic loot-hunting vibes — dragons and all.

If you're already deep into your museum career, you’ll unlock the DLC after finishing Memento Mile Act 1. But if you’re just getting started or prefer sandbox mode, you can dive right into the fantasy content from the beginning.

The expansion is priced at $7.99, and there’s a 10% discount during launch week. Also, in a rare move, the first three Points of Interest from the new expedition map will be playable without buying the DLC. That includes hiring a Fantasy Expert and unlocking some themed decor. You get to keep whatever you find — no demo restrictions. It’s a solid way to test the waters.

Fantasy Finds releases on PC (Steam, Epic), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. And in case you’re wondering — yes, the DLC will also come to Nintendo Switch 2 later in 2025 when the base game drops there.

And there's more. A new Arctic-themed museum level, Pointy Mountains, will be released for free as part of Update 4.0. It's designed as the final act of the base game, with five story chapters and the largest playable space yet. You'll need to reach Curator Class VII to access it, so it’s very much endgame content.
