Konami är osäkra på framtida Metal Gear Soild-remakes
Following the successful release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, remake of 2004 Metal Gear Sold 3: Snake Eater game, the fans are excited over possible remakes of other franchise games. We already know that Konami might be working on upgraded versions of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol 2 and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Fox Hunt, according to the reports, but the fans are wondering are they going to see the remake of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - perhaps, the best game in the franchise.
Unfortunately with recent interview with Real Sound, Metal Gear Solid producer Noriaki Okamura cast on doubt regarding future releases of MGS remakes. He said Konami are currently undecided should they produce more remakes in the future or it will be something else:
"Right now, we're still in the stage of thinking about what to make next. Since Metal Gear has given us a chance to reach a new audience, I'd like to keep building on that momentum. That said, the actual content of what we'll make is still undecided. It could be another remake, or we might take on something entirely new. We have no intention of simply applying the same methodology we used for MGS Delta to every game. We want to determine the most suitable approach for each game"
Okamura also spoke out of a possible MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots remake and described this as "real challenge":
"The hardware at that time required some very unusual designs to get 3D performance out of technology available, and MGS4's code ended up being quite unconventional as well... Bringing it over today seems like it would be a real challenge"
