Pearl Abyss släppte patchnoteringar version 1.00.03 för Crimson Desert

Last week was huge for all RPG fans, as Crimson Desert, one of the most anticipated titles of 2026 and one of the most promising RPGs this year, finally released on PC and consoles. Unfortunately, the game has received negative feedback from players about its clunky control system, boring storyline, and poor implementation of AI. Although the critics still rate the game high, it currently has a 78 score on Metacritic.

It seems like Pearl Abyss, the developing studio, is working hard to fix a lot of things in Crimson Desert, and they finally released a Patch Notes Version 1.00.03 across all the platforms, with the announcement coming on their website. It has a lot of fixed features about Crimson Desert content, control, boss fights & combat, NPCs, graphics, and more. • Added more Abyss Nexuses across the continent of Pywel to improve fast travel via teleportation;
• Added the Private Storage that can be used to store items from your Inventory;
• Improved the visuals of certain puzzles for clarity;
• Improved the response speed of the interaction UI;
• Improved the responsiveness of the Main Menu UI;
• Reduced the Health and Attack of specific enemies and bosses;
• Improved the camera movement when observing skills;
• Added a toggle for 120Hz mode within Settings;
• Fixed an issue where settings were not saving correctly after using the Default option in the Settings menu;
• Fixed an issue where screen quality appeared abnormal when activating FSR Ray Regeneration or DLSS Ray Reconstruction;
• Fixed an issue where the game would occasionally crash under specific graphics settings;
• Improved and fixed various visual effects triggered during specific NPC animations;
• Fixed an issue where the game would occasionally crash when opening the Map menu;
• Fixed an issue where graphics cards were not correctly recognized on versions below a specific build of Windows 10 (Improved detection for graphics card versions that could not be found);
• Fixed several stabilities, performance optimization, and crash issues across PC and console platforms;

It’s been less than a week since Crimson Desert's global launch, but the developers from Pearl Abyss have already admitted the studio used unintended AI-generated images, and it looks like the latest patch is fixing this problem. Moreover, it was also revealed the story of Crimson Desert was rewritten during the development, and some of the high-ranking officials of Pearl Abyss didn’t accept the opinions of other developers. Hopefully, Patch Notes Version 1.00.03 will be a great start for Crimson Desert to become a much more proper title in the shortest period of time possible.
