WWL Esports diskvalificerad från Brawl Stars Championship 2026
Supercell’s competitive scene has been shaken by a major controversy, as WWL Esports has been officially disqualified from the Brawl Stars Championship (BSC) 2026. The decision was announced on March 27 following an internal investigation by tournament officials.
Reason Behind the Disqualification
According to the official statement, WWL Esports has been stripped of all its BSC 2026 points, and all players on the roster have received a 12-month ban, lasting until March 31, 2027.
The disqualification stems from violations related to player eligibility and identity verification. While the organizers did not disclose full details, reports suggest the issue may have been brought to light by one of the team’s players, known as Kaza, which triggered a deeper investigation.
Tournament administrators emphasized that penalties were determined based on each player’s level of involvement in the violations.
Impact on the Esports Scene
The incident highlights the importance of strict rule enforcement, even at the highest level of competition. Tournament organizers have urged players and teams to report any potential violations early, stressing that transparency is preferable to post-investigation consequences.
This is not an isolated case. Earlier in the season, another East Asian team, Galaxy Collapse, was also disqualified for breaching fair play rules through account misuse.
A Stronger Crackdown
Back-to-back disqualifications suggest a more aggressive approach to maintaining competitive integrity within the Brawl Stars esports ecosystem. As enforcement tightens, teams will be expected to adhere more strictly to regulations — with little tolerance for violations.
