Nytt Star Wars-videospel kan tillkännages en specifik dag

There are plenty of Star Wars video games that are currently in development. Although most of them, like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake, Fate of the Old Republic, or Star Wars: Eclipse, don't have release dates yet, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, developed by Fuse Games, is confirmed to release this year.

And there might be another title based on Star Wars universe to be confirmed later this year. According to Reddit user Cursed_69420, Star Wars Jedi 3 will be officially confirmed by Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment on May 4—the national Star Wars Day. It could be a teaser or revealed logo of the upcoming title. He also provided some information about the third installment of Star Wars Jedi, and one of the most important features is that Cal Kestis, the protagonist of Star Wars Jedi franchise, will have a daughter that will create a conflict between her and adopted daughter Kata from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Cal has a daughter (unsure of blood or adopted) alongside Kata, who is also his adopted daughter now. Kata and her sister have some sort of conflict. This was his statement regarding the story. I assume getting a white saber means he will purify Bode/Dagan's saber or his own which he accidentally bled.

A Double Blaster stance is planned

Not sure how broken it would be as Blaster stance itself was pretty much easy mode in JS.

Overall during the game's progression, there will be points where players are allowed to make some moral choices for progression. Closest comparison is Spider-man Web of Shadows, and somewhat "Ghost of Tsushima" in terms of player freedom to role-play a Ghost or a Samurai. It won't affect the ending.

Survivor felt a bit disjointed in it's story when compared to Fallen Order, that's because JFO already had it's story well written before full production began. Survivor's story and production were happening in parallel hence the rocky nature of the game. SAME situation is happening with Jedi 3, where the plot is being written and altered alongside full gameplay production.

The one thing he was SURE about is that May 4th will be a guaranteed reveal of some sorts, be a teaser, a tweet or a logo. Even i told him that ANYONE could just guess that and he was still adamant that the reveal is the sure shot thing while everything else is subject to change."

As for now, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment haven't announced the third title of Star Wars Jedi, so these reports should be considered with a grain of salt.
