Marvels Wolverine-skurk enligt uppgift avslöjad

Marvel’s Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games, remains one of the most anticipated titles of 2026. Studio has done a great job with Marvel’s Spider-Man titles, and the fans cannot wait to see what they prepared with the iconic X-Men character.

We already know that Marvel’s Wolverine will be much more mature and bloodier than any of Marvel’s Spider-Man video games, but also it will be the first project from Insomniac Games set in the Marvel universe that will not feature an open world. The studio also confirmed that some familiar faces from Marvel Comics will appear in the game—specifically, Omega Red, Sentinels, and Mystique, another well-known X-Men member.

Speaking of the last one, according to Legion Looterana, who reveals Marvel’s Wolverine will not have an open world, Mystique is one of a few villains in the game. He also teased we will likely see multiple meetings between her and Logan in Marvel’s Wolverine, as he owns the ability to change her appearance and might manipulate the titular character, as you can check out below:

For those less familiar with the comics, the relationship between Raven Darkhölme and Logan is an absolute rollercoaster. Their paths have crossed for over a century as comrades-in-arms, lovers, and, above all, mortal enemies.

As a shapeshifting mutant and expert assassin, Mystique knows exactly how to manipulate Logan, taking the form of his loved ones or allies to sow doubt before the final blow.

Do you think she’ll be a villain from beginning to end, or will we have to ally with her temporarily before the inevitable betrayal?”

The fans may know Mystique from the X-Men movies, where she was one of the villains alongside Magneto, and that makes sense for her to be one of the villains in Marvel’s Wolverine. Considering the game also has Omega Red and one of the Sentinels, Logan will face a lot of bad guys in the game, although the name of the antagonist is still not confirmed.

According to a recent report from PlayStation insider TCMFGames, Insomniac Games is planning to release more superhero titles in the next couple of years, with Marvel’s X-Men being one of them.
