CD Projekt RED teasar avslöjandet av ytterligare ett projekt efter The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of The Past

This week has become a real celebration for all fans of The Witcher franchise by CD Projekt RED, as the developers officially confirmed the existence of a new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt called Songs of the Past. So far, the details of the expansion are being kept secret, but it has been confirmed that Geralt of Rivia will return next year.

Apparently, the developers have not revealed everything yet and have some aces up their sleeves. As spotted by GamesRadar+, CD Projekt RED disclosed that they have not shown all of their upcoming projects, which may be released in the next quarters of this and the following year. It is still unclear whether these are new games, expansions, or remakes, but they are mentioned in the company's recent financial report.

“Some of the other unannounced projects previously disclosed by the Parent Company in its past periodic reports are also at an advanced stage of development, which may potentially lead up to their release in the coming quarters of the current year and the following year”

The upcoming expansion Songs of the Past for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is being developed by Fool's Theory - the same studio that is also responsible for creating the remake of the first part of The Witcher, announced in 2022.

As for CD Projekt RED itself, the studio is busier. At the moment, active work is being done not only on The Witcher 4 but also on a new trilogy of the franchise, which is planned to be released over six years. In addition, the developers are working on the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, Project Sirius—the multiplayer spin-off to The Witcher franchise—and a new IP—Project Hadar.

Fans also suggested that the studio might be teasing a new expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, but earlier CD Projekt RED stated that they do not plan to release DLC for the game.
