Nintendo arbetar enligt uppgift på ett nytt Metroid-spel efter att Metroid Ravenous läckt ut via listning.

Rumors of an unannounced new game set in the Metroid universe have surfaced thanks to a leak from Brazil’s Ministry of Justice and Public Security system. Although the leak was quickly removed from the website, gamers managed to capture some details about the upcoming project.

The new rumored game in the franchise is reportedly titled Metroid Ravenous; as spotted by Universo Nintendo, it is rated 12+ and is listed for release in 2026. Nintendo has not yet commented on this leak, but such leaks related to rating assignments often turn out to be true.

The Brazilian Ministry of Justice and Public Security leaks the existence of Metroid Ravenous for Nintendo Switch 2 via the Rating System.

The listing, now deleted from the Brazilian system, indicates 2026 as the production year.

Another interesting point is that Nintendo may be working on even more Metroid projects. At least, that’s what Andy Robinson of Video Games Chronicle suggests on his X page, as you can check out below:
