Insider klargjorde releasedatumet för Assassin's Creed-spelet med kodnamnet Hexe

Despite the massive success of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, released this month and now the highest-rated entry in the series over the past 13 years, Ubisoft is still working hard on Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe, the franchise's next mainline installment, announced back in 2022. Despite earlier rumors, it looks like the studio is in no rush to unveil the game, and the release could well come later than expected.

Responding to fan questions, reliable gaming insider NateTheHate claimed Codename Hexe is unlikely to release before the second half of 2027 and that Ubisoft has no plans to reveal the game anytime soon. Earlier, Ubisoft insider Rogue had previously shared that the studio is aiming for a June 2027 release, with a possible reveal at Gamescom that will take place next month. However, given NateTheHate's comments, fans probably shouldn't get their hopes up just yet. You can check out the insider's full report below:

Hey NateTheHate do you know when Assassin's Creed Hexe will be revealed?

Game won't launch until second half of 2027, at earliest. They don't need to rush a reveal/announcement.

Not long ago, the abovementioned insider Rogue also revealed what Anika, the main character of Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, would look like— which got him banned from X after Ubisoft appealed. Before that, he also shared plenty of details about the game's features, including an open world, the absence of magical elements, and the return of the fear system from the Jack the Ripper DLC in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. It's also worth remembering that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, released July 9, does have an Easter egg tied to Codename Hexe —the church found in the game's Animus files, which Rogue confirms will play an important role in the new title.

Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe is in development for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. The game’s release date is currently unknown.
