Karaktär från GTA Online bekräftad att dyka upp i GTA 6

Yesterday, Netflix premiered Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look—the first official look at GTA 6 gameplay, which is now also available on Rockstar Games’ official YouTube channel. Players were shown over 25 minutes of the current version of the game, featuring various gameplay mechanics, story missions, side activities, and much more. Additionally, the new trailer confirmed the return of a character who first appeared in GTA Online.

The character in question is Valentina, who returns to GTA 6 after her debut in GTA Online, where she appeared in the “Money Fronts” update. During “An Extended Look,” she meets Jason and Lucia at the airport, after which we see the main characters working as bodyguards during a branch opening event in Vice City before a group of armed men shows up. Whether Valentina plays a major role in the GTA 6 story or is a minor character remains unknown at this time.

In the image above, you can also see a significant difference in the graphics between GTA Online and GTA 6, not to mention that Rockstar hasn’t finished developing the new installment yet. The fact that Valentina appears in the sixth entry suggests a direct connection to GTA 5—or more specifically, to GTA Online—and she’s most likely far from the last character to return in GTA 6.

Shortly after the premiere of the GTA 6 gameplay trailer on Netflix, Rockstar shared new official details about the game, including information regarding the story, characters, open world, and more. It has been revealed that the map in GTA 6 is twice as big as the one in GTA 5 and three times as big as the one in Red Dead Redemption 2. During story missions, you’ll often make choices that affect the future, and the relationship between Jason and Lucia is entirely up to you; if the characters spend a lot of time together, their bond grows stronger, but if they don’t, it can negatively impact their morale and their ability to complete missions together.

Further, it is reported that at launch, GTA 6 will run at 30 FPS on all consoles, including the PlayStation 5 Pro, and will not feature a first-person mode—but it is likely that both of these issues will be fixed and added in future updates.
