Rockstar Games gratulerade Remedy till lanseringen av Control Resonant

It’s often the case when a gaming studio releases a new project—especially a major one—that you’ll see congratulations on the launch from their peers on social media. But you don’t hear this very frequently from Rockstar Games—nevertheless, it did happen recently.

On September 24, Remedy released its new game, Control Resonant, a sequel to the 2019 original. On its X page, Rockstar Games posted a congratulatory message addressed to the Finnish studio in regard to the launch of the new project, as you can check out below:

Control Resonant has received rave reviews from both critics and players. The game currently has a Metacritic score of 83 (user score: 9.0), and its positive rating on Steam is approaching 90%. You can purchase the game on Eneba and use the promo code EGW5 to get a 5% discount.

Rockstar Games’ announcement coinciding with the release of Control: Resonant is no accident. The two studios are cooperating, as Remedy is responsible for developing the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake, while Rockstar is providing funding and serving as a producer. Recently, it became known the remake will be the next one the studio plans to release after GTA 6. There had also been earlier rumors of a possible release in 2027.

As for Control Resonant, the developers have shared their plans for the future and confirmed the game will receive a New Game++ and photo mode in the next couple of months. Remedy's new title is available now on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
