Arcane vinner Emmy, vad händer härnäst i serien?

Arcane: League of Legends, in my opinion, absolutely deservedly received an Emmy, beating other equally famous animations in its category, such as Bob's Burgers, Rick and Morty, The Simpsons.

The series came out with the collaboration of Riot Games, Netflix and Fortiche just under a year ago, in November 2021, and immediately captured the hearts of viewers along with a variety of ratings. For example, on IMDb, the cartoon has a rating of 9.0 and in this it overtakes cinema legends like The Shining (8.4) or Pulp Fiction (8.9). Considering that the work on it took about 6 years, the result more than met expectations.

Arcane season 2 and everything we know about it so far

So far, we have only the official announcement of the second season of the series and tweets from the team that work is in full swing.

And I propose to start with the most interesting - the release date of the sequel. I will say right away that we do not have an exact or even approximate time frame. Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent indirectly answered this question:

“Yes, we are working on the second season of Arcane.

The good news is that you don't have to wait 6 years (the time we spent creating the first season).

The bad news is that it won't happen in 2022."

From this we conclude that the release of the sensational animation on the League of Legends is scheduled no earlier than 2023. According to some insiders, a very good time window for the release of the sequel will be next spring. But knowing Riot Games and their thorough approach to their games and projects, they will not feed the audience with a raw product. Because 2023 is at best. But it would also not be very rational to delay Arcane for 2-3 years.

Judging by the 32-second video, we hear the voices of the characters Vi, Jinx and Caitlyn, which almost 100% tells us that this trio will remain and will play an important role in the second season.

The story itself will most likely continue straight from the final episode of the previous season. Tension between Piltover and Zaun grew throughout the series. I won't be surprised if the key event is a full-scale conflict between the upper and lower cities, around which the plot will wrap.
