Denna artikel finns tillgänglig på följande språk

Riot Games has revealed the full preview for Patch 26.07 in League of Legends, outlining a new wave of balance changes targeting both professional play and solo queue performance. The update focuses on several high-impact champions, including Shyvana, Cassiopeia, Kalista, and Rell, while also introducing nerfs for some of the strongest picks in the current meta.

The list of adjustments was shared by RiotPhroxzon, continuing Riot’s ongoing effort to fine-tune champion performance across all levels of play.

Champion Buffs

Several champions are receiving buffs to improve their viability, particularly in competitive environments:

Cassiopeia

  • Base Mana: 450 → 480
  • E Bonus Magic Damage: 20/43/66/89/112 → 20/45/70/95/120

Kalista

  • E Damage Scaling per Stack:(+20/25/30/35/40% AD) → (+20/27.5/35/42.5/50% AD)

Rell

  • E Movement Speed:10% (up to 25%) → 15% (up to 30%)
  • Ultimate Damage:120/200/380 (+110% AP) → 150/250/350 (+110% AP)

These changes aim to reinforce their roles in team compositions, especially in coordinated play.

I think Cassiopeia’s buffs are particularly important, as they strengthen her identity as a sustained damage dealer without significantly increasing her early-game dominance.

Champion Nerfs

Riot is also dialing back several champions that have been overperforming, especially in standard matchmaking:

  • Graves — Base Attack: 68 → 66
  • Karma — R+E Shield:50/100/150/200 (+45% AP) → 45/85/125/165 (+45% AP)
  • Nami — W Bounce Modifier:-10% (+10% per 100 AP) → -20% (+15% per 100 AP)
  • Ornn — Brittle Damage:10–18% max HP → 9–16% max HP
  • Singed — Ultimate Stats:25/60/95 → 25/55/85
  • Veigar — Ultimate Cooldown:100/80/60 → 120/90/60 seconds

These nerfs are intended to reduce consistency and impact, particularly for champions dominating multiple skill brackets.

Champion Adjustments

  • ShyvanaUltimate Haste no longer grants flat passive fury generation
  • Now increases all fury generation by 1% per point of Ultimate Haste

This change is described as temporary, as Riot continues working on a more extensive rework for the champion.

System Changes

  • Support Farming Penalty — Removed

This adjustment could significantly impact how support players approach early-game resource management and lane pressure.

I see this change as potentially meta-shifting, since removing farming penalties may open up more flexible support playstyles and unconventional strategies.

Context and Previous Updates

Patch 26.07 follows earlier system changes introduced by Riot Games, including adjustments to ranked matchmaking and LP gains. These updates were aimed at improving match quality and addressing issues such as smurfing.

Overall, Patch 26.07 focuses on refining champion balance rather than introducing large-scale gameplay changes. Buffs to underperforming picks and nerfs to dominant champions should help stabilize both solo queue and professional metas.

With Shyvana’s rework still in development and continued system tweaks from Riot, the coming patches are likely to further shape the competitive landscape.
