Activision has shared new details about the future of Call of Duty: Mobile during the second episode of Inside CODM. During the livestream, Head of Call of Duty: Mobile Jeff Gullett confirmed that the game's player level cap will increase from 400 to 450. While the team has discussed introducing a Prestige-style progression system, no plans have been finalized.

The developers also reiterated that work on a new large-scale Battle Royale map is continuing. Although no gameplay or release details were revealed, Activision expects to showcase the map during the game's anniversary season later this year while continuing to improve the current Battle Royale experience.

Competitive multiplayer is also set for changes. The team is developing a new approach to Ranked map rotations and plans to involve the community through official polls, allowing players to influence which maps appear in future Ranked seasons.

Addressing cosmetic content, Activision said military simulation-themed skins will remain part of the game alongside sci-fi, anime, and other themed designs. While a dedicated milsim-only season is not planned, realistic operator skins will continue to be released through Battle Passes, draws, and seasonal events.

The episode also confirmed Season 9: Vampires vs Werewolves, scheduled to launch in October 2026 as part of the Your Season, Your Vote initiative. The community selected the seasonal theme, along with the Pack Commander and Moonlight Vengeance operators and the Wolven Moonlight CX-9 and Cantus Rubra weapon skins.
