The Hex Operator Skin is one of the rarest cosmetic rewards available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 5. Part of the exclusive Cipher Collection, the skin is only available to players who own the BlackCell Pass and complete one of the season's secret Dark Ops challenges.

The Season 5 BlackCell Pass, priced at $29.99, is the premium version of the Battle Pass. In addition to exclusive Operator skins, it includes weapon blueprints, COD Points, tier skips, and other cosmetic rewards unavailable through the standard Battle Pass. Players who complete the full BlackCell Pass can unlock up to 140 seasonal rewards.

Owning the BlackCell Pass is required to access the Hex skin. Players must also complete one of four hidden Dark Ops challenges, with objectives available across Co-Op Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. Completing a challenge without owning BlackCell will not unlock the Operator.

The available Dark Ops objectives are:

• Co-Op Campaign: Defeat 150 Zone IV enemies in a single match while keeping your Combat Rating at 30 or below.
• Multiplayer: Earn five kills without taking damage or using a Scorestreak.
• Zombies: Complete a Main Quest while carrying the Focusing Stone, Rocket, Blood Vials, and Vrill Sphere relics.
• Warzone: Eliminate five players without taking damage or using a Scorestreak in non-Casual playlists.

Among the available options, the Multiplayer and Warzone challenges are considered the most accessible, although both require flawless gameplay because taking any damage immediately fails the objective.

The Hex Operator Skin is designed as an exclusive reward for dedicated BlackCell owners rather than a standard Battle Pass unlock. Players interested in collecting every cosmetic from the Cipher Collection will need to purchase the Season 5 BlackCell Pass and complete one of the hidden challenges before the season ends.
