Inde Navarrette vill spela huvudrollen i en filmatisering av Call of Duty

A Call of Duty film adaptation is known to be in development. Details are scarce, but Peter Berg, known for Hancock and Mile 22, will direct, and the film is set in the Modern Warfare universe. The cast hasn’t been announced, but one rising actress has revealed she’s interested in joining.

That actress is Inde Navarrette, the star of the horror film Obsession. In a recent interview with Collider, she claimed herself as a franchise fan and would love to join the cast right away. You can check out her comments below:

“It's a phone call. It's a text. if they call me, they're like, 'There's a car outside. You gotta go.' Definitely. I'm a big fan. I'm really excited to see what they do. As a fan, I would be excited. I'm a big fan. Yeah. Very excited.”

After the success of Obsession, Navarrette also landed a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing Rogue in the X-Men reboot. The 25-year-old actress has also revealed she’d like to appear in a Resident Evil movie. Zach Cregger recently hinted he might make another film in a franchise and claimed he has an actress in mind for Lady Dimitrescu, Christina Hendricks, in a Resident Evil Village adaptation, which also could open doors for Navarrette.

As for Call of Duty games, the new title, Modern Warfare 4, developed by Infinity Ward, came out this week. Critics have rated it very highly, mostly praising the story campaign and calling it one of the best ever. The film adaptation premieres on June 30, 2028.
