DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major
The main event both this week, and in general in the month of January, is of course the first Dota 2 Major tournament in 2020, DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major. The group stage has come to an end and the eight teams that have reached the upper bracket and the eight teams that have reached the lower bracket have already been identified.
The championship started on January 18 and will end on the 26th. The total prize pool of DreamLeague Season 13 is $1,000,000 and 15,000 rating points. Many stellar teams take part in the tournament and the event is already filled with unexpected twists of events. For example, NAVI showed a brilliant performance in the group stage, completing participation in it with a score of 2-0 and reached the upper bracket, while Virtus.pro could not live up to their expectations and, playing with a score of 0-2, went to the lower bracket.
Recall that the winner of the thirteenth DreamLeague season will be able to provide himself with a sufficient number of Dota Pro Circuit points, which will be enough to reach The International 2020.
