BMW begins cooperation with esports clubs
BMW decided to partner with the largest eSports clubs, which are primarily distinguished from their competitors by outstanding achievements in the League of Legends discipline. The partners list includes T1, G2 Esports, Cloud9, Fnatic and FunPlus Phoenix.
As part of this collaboration, BMW will provide organizations with team cars that will have a unique, exclusive appearance.
BMW thought about entering into a partnership agreement with the clubs before the outbreak of COVID-19. The German automobile manufacturer decided to expand its influence by introducing into the field of computer sports, the popularity of which is growing every day, and in quarantine this is noticeably even greater. However, this is not the first time that BMW has gone into the mainstream. 3 years ago, BMW became an official partner of LEC Summer 2017 in Paris, and also expressed their support in the direction of SIM Racing, BMW SIM LIVE and BMW Welt in Munich, after which they declared themselves as a major e-sports partner. At this stage of development, BMW is trying to collaborate with the largest eSports clubs.
BMW became partners of five eSports clubs, and the motto for their cooperation was United in Rivalry (united in rivalry) and United at Home (united in homes), which implies rivalry without leaving home in support of the quarantine regime.
