EA Sports bekräftar att Liga MX återvänder som en helt licensierad liga i FC 27
EA Sports has officially confirmed that Liga MX will return as a fully licensed competition in FC 27, marking the comeback of Mexico's top-flight league to the series. The announcement was made on July 25 through Liga MX's official social media channels.
The licensing agreement restores all 18 Liga MX clubs to the game with authentic team names, kits, badges, stadiums, and player likenesses. Fans will once again be able to compete with clubs such as Club América, Guadalajara (Chivas), Cruz Azul, Monterrey, Tigres UANL, Pachuca, Toluca, and Pumas UNAM, among others.
The return of Liga MX also extends to FC Mobile, where the league will be added through a future update. While EA Sports has not announced a release date for the mobile version, players can expect league-themed events, player cards, and promotional content after launch.
The restored license also brings a number of well-known footballers back to the series, including Keylor Navas, Gilberto Mora, Erik Lira, and other players competing in the 2026–27 Liga MX season.
FC 27 is scheduled for a global release on September 25, 2026. The confirmation of Liga MX follows a series of recent FC 27 announcements from EA Sports, including the introduction of the new Hall of FUT player items and additional Ultimate+ Edition pre-order bonuses.
