Nearly a decade after leaving Rockstar Games, Leslie Benzies—former producer of Grand Theft Auto III through GTA V—is finally ready to debut his first major project from his new studio, Build A Rocket Boy. The long-awaited open-world action game, MindsEye, is officially set to release on June 10, with pre-orders now available.

A First Look at MindsEye

Revealed during the latest State of Play, MindsEye made a strong impression with its first-ever gameplay trailer, showcasing an intense, cinematic experience set in a gritty, futuristic world.

The game takes place in Redrock, a fictional desert city in the near future. Players step into the shoes of Jacob Diaz, a former soldier who receives an experimental neural implant known as the "Mind’s Eye." This mysterious device begins to unlock fragmented memories of a secret mission buried deep in Jacob’s past—one that changed his life and now threatens to consume it.

As Jacob unravels the truth behind his haunting recollections, he must face off against powerful forces intent on keeping those secrets buried.

Fans of Mafia 3 may recognize Jacob’s face, as the character’s likeness is based on the same actor.
