NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix Driver 591.67 löser SDR-gradientbanding, Digital Vibrance-färgfel och problem med kontrollpanelen.
NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix Driver 591.67 has been released to address three specific issues affecting recent driver builds on NVIDIA graphics cards. The update focuses on color accuracy and a persistent Control Panel setting bug, rather than performance changes or new feature additions.
The most visible fix targets slight banding that could appear on color gradients when systems were operating in SDR color mode. The issue had been reported by users working with flat color transitions, where gradients would show unintended steps instead of smooth blending. NVIDIA confirms the problem has been resolved in this hotfix.
The driver also corrects a fault tied to Digital Vibrance. Under certain conditions, color adjustments made through this setting were not applied correctly, leading to inaccurate saturation levels. This fix restores expected behavior when users modify Digital Vibrance values through NVIDIA Control Panel.
A third correction addresses a long-standing annoyance within the Control Panel interface. Users were previously unable to deselect the “Show Notification Tray Icon” option, even after manually disabling it. The hotfix restores proper control over this setting.
As with other NVIDIA hotfix releases, version 591.67 includes all fixes and changes from the most recent WHQL-certified driver. NVIDIA continues to position hotfix drivers as optional updates intended for users directly affected by specific bugs. Systems that do not experience SDR banding or Digital Vibrance issues are not required to install the update.
The driver is available for download directly from NVIDIA. No changes to game profiles or performance optimizations are highlighted in this release.
NVIDIA GeForce Hotfix Driver 591.67 Patch Notes:
- Slight banding may be observed on gradients in SDR color mode
- Colors are not applied correctly when using Digital Vibrance
