Rockstar Games kommer att förhindra framtida läckor av Grand Theft Auto VI

As we know, the marketing of Grand Theft Auto VI, the most anticipated video game of 2026, officially starts this summer, so we need to wait a couple of months to see a new trailer and find out more official details. At the same time, some of the fans are hopeful to get more information earlier from the insiders who will make leaks; however, after everything that happened in the past with GTA VI’s leaks, it seems like Rockstar Games took it seriously.

According to multiple gaming industry insiders, Rockstar Games is now fully locked down to prevent any future leaks of Grand Theft Auto VI, and those who want to unveil some information about the game will have a proper punishment. Specifically, some of the users, like Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilley and TheGhostofHope, have made their statements on X social media, and you can check them below:

“You gonna do Rockstar leaks as well?”

“LOL they lock that shit down never gonna happen and even if I did know stuff I'd keep it to myself probably”

“Is there any news about gta6??? New info?”

“Rockstar currently is locked up like Area 51, getting intel is almost impossible for me currently. No one is talking at all about GTA 6 lol.”

“Is it true that Rockstar spreads misinformation sometimes to catch leakers?”

“Yes, it is 100% true.”

There are some interesting comments from game developer interviewer and industry insider Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly. He reveals Rockstar Games position on GTA VI is similar to Area 51, and it shows how the studio is concerned about possible leaks. Also, the developers are confirmed to spread the rumors on GTA VI themselves, and that means some of the information about the game might be false. Anyway, it’s a good point that Grand Theft Auto VI (hopefully) will avoid any leaks, especially about its story, to receive emotions when the game releases.

Ironically, a PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI recently leaked online, with its price as well as the price of the game on the Xbox Series X/S platform.
