Bend Studio kan arbeta på ett nytt projekt för Sony
PlayStation gamers are hopeful Bend Studio, the developers of Days Gone, one of Sony's best exclusives, will not be the next company shut down by Sony, just like it happened with Bluepoint Games last month. Although we are unlikely to receive a sequel to Days Gone anytime soon, as well as other titles, live service was canceled, and a new report is hinting the studio might actually be working on a new project.
According to the PlayStation career website, Bend Studio, which has also previously worked on such titles as Uncharted: Golden Abyss and the Syphon Files game series, is now looking for an audio director and producer to work on the “next high-profile AAA console title.” It’s very likely the newest studio’s installment will be an exclusive for PlayStation 5, as Sony recently announced they will not release their titles on PC like they did the last 6 years.
Last year, Bend Studio also laid off some employees after it was revealed the live-service title, which is rumored to be titled Mirror Bond, was cancelled. A few shots and some details of the game were leaked online recently, and you can check out the report here.
Bend Studio has proven the studio is able to create an exciting story with the new IPs, with Days Gone remaining the best example. Hopefully, after the cancellation of the live-service Mirror Bond game and last year’s layoffs, the studio will get back on its feet and create some really high-quality new projects.
