Since its announcement back in 2019, we haven’t heard a lot about The Wolf Among Us 2, sequel to the 2013 original game developed by Telltale Games. Some fans have been disturbed the game could be cancelled due to massive layoffs at Telltale, but a recent report confirmed the game is still in development and could even be revealed this year.

It was also mentioned that Telltale Games is working on The Wolf Among Us 2 with some unnamed Argentinian studio; both companies have started the development of The Wolf Among Us from a clean slate, and the original title could receive a remastered version to make the franchise more well-known. Moreover, the newest report from MP1st shared some new details surrounding The Wolf Among Us game series.

According to the source, the above-mentioned unnamed Argentinian partner of Telltale Games is Trick Studio - they worked with Telltale on The Expanse: A Telltale Series video game, and now the company is developing a remastered version of The Wolf Among Us. At this point, The Wolf Among Us 2 still doesn’t have a release date, and Telltale hasn’t confirmed the development of The Wolf Among Us Remastered. Therefore, this report should be considered with a grain of salt, and hopefully the studio will reveal more official details about the franchise soon.

The Wolf Among Us is an episodic adventure game that follows Bigby Wolf, the sheriff of the fictional city Fabletown. The game is a prequel to the comics Fables, which tells a story about characters from fairy tales and folklore who were expelled from their universes. In the game, Bigby Wolf is investigating a series of murders, during which he's interacting with such fairy tale characters as Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Colin from Three Little Pigs, and more.
