Stranger Than Heaven kan bli nästa stora GTA-klon

Stranger Than Heaven was first revealed at The Game Awards 2026 as Project Century. Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, which is known as the developers of Like a Dragon game series, the game received a new gameplay trailer at the latest Xbox Partner Preview and a bunch of new details, which may have a lot of people eagerly anticipating the upcoming title.

After the announcement of a new gameplay trailer for Stranger Than Heaven, the executive producer of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, Masayoshi Yokoyama, revealed that in the game, players will be able to witness five different eras—from 1915 to 1965. Moreover, there are 5 different cities that you can visit during all these years. According to Yokoyama, the latest trailer of Stranger Than Heaven revealed at Xbox Partner Preview is “just the tip of the iceberg with much more to be revealed soon.” You can check out the new trailer for Stranger Than Heaven and more comments from Yokoyama below:

“We can’t say much more than what was shown today. But as you can imagine, five cities and five eras is a massive undertaking. We’re putting a tremendous amount of care into bringing to life these times and places we feel are rarely explored in games. It’s truly a unique experience you can’t get anywhere else.”

The game is also confirmed to receive a broadcast titled Xbox Presents: A Special Look at Stranger Than Heaven, where the studio is likely to reveal more about their upcoming project. It is currently scheduled for May 6. Considering the scale of Stranger Than Heaven, the project is looking really ambitious so far and could be a potentially great clone of GTA game series.
