Rykten om att Media Molecule arbetar på en ny IP för öppen värld

Media Molecule studio, the developers of LittleBigPlanet game series and their latest title, Dreams, released in 2020, hasn’t revealed their new project yet, but the recent job listings teasing its first details of an unannounced new video game.

As spotted by MP1st, In the resume of one of the employees who works as Senior Environment Designer’ at Media Molecule for an unannounced project, there is information about work on "various open-world content." In addition, apparently the studio's new IP will have a collection system, which means it will likely have a survival subgenre. More detailed information from the resume you can check out below:

My duties:

• Mentoring other LDs
• Lever blocking out main POIs, moment-to-moment gameplay, forage design, and scripting various gameplay events.
• Aligned and created the LD modular metrics geometry library kit.
• Feature owner, main contact/vision holder of various open-world content.
• Documentation of levels, paper design 2d layout, and pitching.
• Feedback and review on other level designers’ levels.
• Calibrating with multiple disciplines, including leading peers, tech designers, programmers, artists, and production.
• Worked with the leadership team on pre-production POI/gameplay scoping, scale/density, and prototyping for world-level layouts, workflow pipeline/practices and structuring for levels.

When Media Molecule is going to officially present their new game remains unknown. But considering that another State of Play will take place on June 2, and the studio, as is known, belongs to Sony, the announcement may happen soon.
