Rayman Legends Remake kommer att tillkännages på State of Play och släppas i höst

Ubisoft has not officially announced that a remake of Rayman Legends - the 2013 game - is in development. Rumors about the project have been circulating for quite some time, and ahead of the State of Play showcase, we received reliable information about when to expect the official announcement of the project.

It all started with a leak from one of the users of the social network X under the nickname intercelluar, who had previously posted footage of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced before the official presentation. He revealed that the upcoming remake of Rayman Legends has an updated title - Rayman Legends Retold, as you can check out below:

New game (Project Steambot)

Almost instantly, Insider Gaming portal revealed additional information about the remake. In particular, that an official reveal of the game is expected "within the next week," and the game will be released on October 1. The platforms, however, are not specified. Earlier, Tom Henderson reported that the remake of Rayman Legends has some positive stuff around it.

But that's not the end of the details about Rayman Legends Retold. The well-known insider NateTheHate on the ResetEra forum stated that the game will have new content "and more," and the official announcement will take place on June 2, as part of State of Play (June 2). He also confirmed it will be "2.5D with some 3D sections", while the original title was 2D.

Rayman Legends is the 2013 platform game and the direct sequel to 2011’s Rayman Origins. The game’s plot reveals that Rayman, Globox, and the Teensies, after a year-long sleep, embark on a journey through magical painting portals, where they fight enemies, free worlds from nightmares, and rescue princesses.
