Steam-uppdatering antyder att Crimson Desert kan få ett nytt DLC snart

Pearl Abyss continues to release patches for their game Crimson Desert, which was released in March of this year. Updates of this kind add new content as well as fix a lot of bugs, but a recent discovery hint that the game may receive DLC in the near future.

As spotted by Legion Looterana, the word ‘DLC’ was discovered in the recent Crimson Desert update on Steam. Apparently, Pearl Abyss has already developed additional content for the game, and at the moment they are adding new files. This may also signify that an announcement could take place in the near future.

The word DLC has appeared in the CRIMSON Desert backend:

A mysterious code, "dlcappid: 4783050," has just appeared in the SteamDB backend.

Pearl Abyss had already informed its investors that they would explore expansions to take the game to a "new level."

As the source indicates, the studio previously mentioned the possibility of creating DLC for Crimson Desert, and fans will certainly be happy about such a development. At the moment, it is unknown whether the expansion will include any story extensions, new locations, and so on, but it is possible that we will learn new information at one of the upcoming gaming shows—for example, Summer Game Fest, which will take place from June 5 to 8.

Pearl Abyss also released a new update for Crimson Desert - Patch Notes Version 1.09.00 —which adds 30 new pets to the game, the ability to customize gamepad buttons, and fixes a lot of technical issues.
